Jackrabbit’s second workplace excellence recognition came the following week as the company was honored with a #21 ranking in The Charlotte Business Journal’s annual Best Places to Work Recognition. Seventy-seven finalists were chosen and ranked in three business categories – Small, Mid-Sized and Large Businesses. Jackrabbit Technologies ranked twenty-first in the Small Business category, marking 2013 as the fourth consecutive year that the company has earned a spot of honor among its small company peers.
“We are thrilled to be recognized for workplace excellence by both a state and local organization. As owners and managers our team works diligently at offering benefits and perks that fit our employees’ needs and lifestyles. We want them to excel professionally and in their activities on behalf of Jackrabbit but we also want them to reach personal goals and family milestone,” comments Mark Mahoney, Jackrabbit’s President and CoFounder. “There is no reason that the company they work for can’t play a role in that.”
This year’s results show that Charlotte’s employers showed an extraordinary workplace engagement rating – higher than any other market in the U.S.
