Jackrabbit Technologies and Its Co-Founder Honored at 2018 Bulldog 100
Charlotte, NC | February 1, 2018 – University of Georgia Alumni Association Recognized Jackrabbit Technologies’ Successful Growth and Bestowed Mark Mahoney with the Inaugural Michael J. Bryan Award
Jackrabbit Technologies’ co-founder, Mark Mahoney, accepted honors for his company’s growth and for his own entrepreneurial spirit at the 2018 Bulldog 100 hosted by the University’s Alumni Association on January 27, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Jackrabbit Technologies, the leading provider of online class management software for youth activities centers, was recognized in The 2018 Bulldog 100 Showcase as the 94th fastest-growing among companies owned or operated by University of Georgia alumni.
Mr. Mahoney received the Michael J. Bryan Award for entrepreneurial spirit and continued, sustained growth within his company, Jackrabbit Technologies. This is the 8th consecutive year that Jackrabbit has been an honoree.
“This event brings together some of our country’s brightest business minds and offers us an exciting opportunity to grow in their midst. Being honored among these fellow Bulldogs is an incredible distinction,” comments Jackrabbit’s President, Mark Mahoney, who graduated from the Terry School of Business with a BBA in 1983. “Individual recognition with an award honoring one of my passionate fellow entrepreneurs is indeed humbling. This will be an award that celebrates the entrepreneurial and collegiate passions we have in common for many years to come.”
This year’s gala honored 101 companies selected from more than 500 nominations. The a

verage compounded annual growth rate for this year’s Bulldog 100 businesses was 47 percent. To be considered for the program, an organization must have been in business for at least five years, had revenues of $100,000 or more for the calendar year 2014, and be owned or operated by a former UG
A student who owns at least 50% of company or is the CEO,
President or Managing Partner. The program recognizes the fastest-growing businesses regardless of size by focusing on a three-year compounded annual growth rate average.
