Jackrabbit Leaders and Clients Share Experiences During First Food for Thought Event

Charlotte, NC – Dec 13, 2022 Jackrabbit Technologies, the leader in providing cloud-based class management software to youth activity centers, hosted the first Food for Thought event at a popular French bakery. Clients gathered to network and enjoy opportunity for personal development in a comfortable atmosphere within driving distance of their local businesses.

“What an amazing day meeting other owners while discussing similar practices and how we can improve both with Jackrabbit and our clients!”  Rachel Cohen, owner of Drama Kids in Concord, NC

The inaugural Food for Thought in Jackrabbit’s headquarters city of Charlotte, NC provided Jackrabbit the opportunity to get a sense of its clients’ appetite for a new format of networking events. December’s Food for Thought opens the door for a new in-person series offering content, networking opportunities, and business development to clients in cities across North America.

Who was featured at Jackrabbit’s Food for Thought?

Chasta Hamilton, owner of Stage Door Dance, long-time Jackrabbit client and author, led the content portion of the event by sharing what led her to write her second book – Handle the Horrible

As a leader in the youth extracurricular industry and as an author/speaker, entrepreneur, and mother, I’m more aware than ever about the importance of elevating our industries to empower and inspire our youth, our future. It was an honor to pilot this event with an exceptional group of Jackrabbit clients, leadership, and peers – all representatives of varying extracurricular verticals. It was a day filled with authenticity and inspiration.”  Chasta Hamilton, owner of Stage Door Dance Productions in Raleigh, NC, and author of Handle the Horrible

Jackrabbit leaders, including CEO and co-founder Mark Mahoney, joined Chasta in delivering personal development sessions to participants and facilitating attendee-led roundtables. This format provided ample opportunity for all clients attending to make one-on-one connections with some of Jackrabbit’s leaders.

“I love spending time with clients and hearing what challenges they are facing and what is ‘top of mind’. It’s critical to Jackrabbit’s success to stay in tune with our clients and listen to their issues and goals.”  Mark Mahoney, Jackrabbit CEO and Co-Founder

What did Food for Thought deliver?

Attendees had much to enjoy, absorb, and take back to their businesses, including

Clients who participated gained greater personal development knowledge, increased their understanding of Jackrabbit, and networked with one another.

“Learning to not just survive but thrive from trauma is something extraordinarily unique. Chasta’s ability to peel back that curtain and allow us to see her vulnerability gave us tools to help those around us to also overcome. From a professional standpoint, I really enjoyed the round table discussion. Getting the ability to connect with others in the swimming world and have real-time discussions in how they use Jackrabbit truly was a gift.”  Martha Hocutt, Manager of SwimMAC-Carolina in Huntersville, NC
