Darin Soll leads technology organizations that deliver. He is passionate about coaching people to sustained success, and helping bridge the gap between customers and technology. Darin combines his ability to ask the right questions with deep business technology experience across multiple industries–ranging from services to healthcare to logistics–to remove roadblocks, optimize execution, and deliver technology solutions that ultimately drive customer success.
As Chief Operating Officer of Jackrabbit Technologies, Darin implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System to ensure that the company’s vision translates to execution results. He organizes teams and workflows around the customer and empowers his leadership team to make decisions. Jackrabbit’s SaaS solutions free leaders of youth activity centers to do what they love. Leading all day-to-day operations, Darin has freed Jackrabbit’s co-founders to focus on vision and strategy to sustain the company’s market leadership in the youth activity and childcare verticals that it serves.
Prior to Jackrabbit, Darin served as Chief Executive Officer of CXT Software, a leading provider of transportation management SaaS and services for expedited delivery and last-mile logistics carriers. As Chief Information Officer of Ace Asphalt, a $100M construction services firm, Darin’s responsibilities included IT strategy, infrastructure, applications, help desk, LEAN enterprise, and facilities management.
Previously, Darin was Executive Director of Software Development at InfoImage, a Microsoft-funded developer of enterprise portal software. He also served as Director of Software Engineering for Hologix, a B2B e-commerce solution provider. Darin began his technology leadership career at McKesson, where he was Director of Technology & Development in the healthcare software division, after holding various software engineering and technical lead positions at EDS, a global information services outsourcer.
Darin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, completing his studies in Arizona’s top-ranked Management Information Systems program. He is active in a number of local and regional business and technology associations, including the NC Tech Board of Advisors, COO Forum, and the Charlotte Regional Technology Executive Council.
When he’s not working, Darin is probably off exploring North Carolina, hiking, or playing the drums. He and his wife are taking full advantage of their new empty-nester status.
