Jackrabbit Technologies Supports Rise Against Hunger by Hosting a Company-Wide Event at its 2023 Annual Meeting

February 22, 2023 – CHARLOTTE, NC – Jackrabbit Technologies, the leader in providing cloud-based class management software to youth activity centers, takes the lead in its commitment to community service during the company’s annual meeting held earlier this year in the company’s headquarters city of Charlotte, NC. Jackrabbit has hosted three Rise Against Hunger events during annual meetings as well as three smaller packaging sessions at Rise Against Hunger’s Charlotte warehouse.

Strong Numbers

Now 111-strong and still hiring, the Jackrabbit team had almost 100% participation in its most recent event where team members danced and sang their way through three hours of meal packaging. The Jackrabbit team can proudly share that it packaged 14,256 meals that filled 66 boxes and will feed 216 school-aged children for an entire school year.

“We are focused on our commitment to giving back! We partner with Rise Against Hunger because, like Jackrabbit, they have global reach. It is SO important that we do our part to be good world citizens and we hope to inspire other businesses to follow our lead,” says Jackrabbit’s COO, Darin Soll.

Commitment to Giving Back

Jackrabbit supports several philanthropic organizations in the Charlotte area. Rise Against Hunger, Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, and joins McDonalds as one of only two corporate champions of Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Charlotte Area.
